Carlos Castillo is a seasoned insurance professional with over 30 years of industry experience, driven by a genuine passion for helping families protect what matters most.

Carlos began his insurance journey in Colombia, writing his very first policy on August 31, 1994. After immigrating to Canada, he transitioned into the oil and gas sector, where he built a successful career as a production accountant and earned a six-figure income. While financially rewarding, the role came with long hours and little sense of fulfilment—prompting Carlos to seek work with deeper purpose and lasting impact.

That turning point led him back to insurance and to the Greatway opportunity, where his passion for service was reignited. Together with his wife, Claire—also a licensed advisor—Carlos found renewed meaning in helping Canadians build financial security while creating a business aligned with their values.

In June 2014, Claire obtained her license, marking the beginning of their Greatway Family journey. Today, Carlos and Claire work side by side, combining decades of experience with a shared vision: to help families secure their futures, build sustainable income, and create positive, lasting change in the lives of others.

Their greatest fulfillment comes from knowing that the work they do not only protects families today, but also helps shape stronger financial legacies for generations to come.
